Shimmy back and forth ‘til you slightly pry the top piece away from the bottom piece. Step 1: Take the flathead screwdriver and insert it within the gap above the eject button. You'll need to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the bottom and top pieces apart along the battery pack’s seam. Opening the rechargeable battery pack is very simple.
